Curling is the FASTEST growing Winter Olympic sport. In the United States, the sport is growing at a rate of 20% a year with over 25,000 curlers competing at curling clubs around the nation. Internationally, curling is enjoying the same popularity with some two million curlers taking to the ice regularly in 30 nations. The game surged in popularity when it became an official Olympic Sport in 1998 and continues to grow in popularity with NBC-TV planning nearly 100 hours of coverage for the 2010 games in Vancouver.
