Renting The Ice

The ice at Columbus Curling Club is available for rent by non member groups that would like to include the sport of curling in their activities calendar. Curling at CCC is a great activity for corporate team-building and morale-booster outings, church groups, social clubs and groups wanting to celebrate a birthday, anniversary or just a fun night out for their friends.

Rates/Information for 2008-2009 Season

Cost: $30 per person includes 2 hours of instruction, basic snacks and drinks and all curling equipment is provided by CCC. Maximum group size per 2 hour session is 24 participants. Minimum group size is 8 participants.

Payment: Cash, check or credit card. Minimum 50% deposit required at least 5 days prior to the event.

Age Requirements: 18 Years of age or older (12 -17 year olds with parent).

What to Wear

Layers of loose fitting clothing, such as sweatpants, sweatshirt, hat, gloves and CLEAN tennis shoes (we request that you carry in the shoes you will be using on the ice). No street shoes allowed. Jeans are not recommended as they restrict movement. The arena temp is usually around 40 degrees.

Beverages/Food

There is no food service provided by the club, but your group can bring in food from an outside vendor. Soft drinks, juice, water can be purchased at the club.

Arrival Time

CCC requests that groups arrive at least 20 minutes prior to your time to acclimate and change clothes if needed.

Rental Times

Weekday rentals are available Monday through Friday before 5pm. Evening times are unavailable due to CCC league play. Some weekend rentals may also be available. E-mail CCC, at info@columbuscurling.com or call (614) 265-2875 for specific availability and questions.
